Snagging – Pre-Completion Inspection / Checklist Service

Pre-Completion Inspection (Snagging Survey) have changed the introduction of new legalisation around building regulations and quality of new homes, the introduction of both the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) and the New Homes Ombudsman Service has had this effect there is now an agreed standard of snagging and an agreed format for these checks.

New Standards

Before 2021 there wasn’t a genuine standard for snagging before the launch of a standard by the RPSA based around the changes suggested within the draft Building Safety Bill now in 2022 there is a genuine national standard agreed with builders and major organisations.

The major changes is the removal of building regulation checking, its around what you see, what you touch and how you use your new home, the Building Safety Bill and its requirements deal.
